Volunteers at the Desert Botanical Garden are an integral part of our Garden team. Volunteers work with staff in all aspects of the Garden mission: education, research, exhibition and conservation of desert plants. The skills, talents and dedication of our volunteers have made the Desert Botanical Garden one of the premier botanical gardens in the world. We recognize the great value of our volunteers and are committed to making volunteering at the Garden enjoyable, productive and rewarding.
There are more than 20 different volunteer jobs. They all consist of meaningful work that benefit both the volunteer and the Garden. Examples of volunteer jobs range from assisting with the Plant Sale and working in the Community Garden to helping guests enjoy their Garden experience. Volunteers in the Garden have fun while growing and developing new skills. We invite you to become a part of our Garden team and as the Garden mission states, “bring to life the many wonders of the desert.”
